OMG, these are so hilarious! I love to check what terms people have used to find this blog through search engines. I know I’ve written about this before, but I find them so funny I’d like to share some new ones:
Common ones:
Juhlajuoma, Julmust, TrackMania United, TMU, Dead poets society summary
Less common ones:
Australian funny websites, My schoolday, Birthday grandmother
Funny ones:
Headache polls/quizzes, How to use a bucket (yes, someone actually searched for that), Given dreams all ridden with pain (how on earth did that link to my site?)…
… and my personal favorite:
Taking baths in tiny buckets
Hope you enjoyed

And now it’s official! Some of you already know this, but on the 6th to 10th of December I’ll be in Kuopio(which is a city in central Finland, for those who do not know). I will also visit the school there on the 7th to 8th, so I can meet all of you from Kuopio there
I’m sure we’ll have a great time!
And for the IB’s, it appears I’m also going to the Sigma Christmas party on the 8th (or was it 7th?). Raili is making me come, and I’m sure the math teacher will be thrilled (!)
For those of you who are not IB, I’m hoping we can do something on the 7th (or 8th… the day when the Christmas party is not taking place). Any suggestions?
So now you’re probably wondering what I’m going to do the other days in Kuopio… well, the 6th will be dedicated to traveling, Saturday is used for skiing, and on Sunday I’m going home.
I’m looking forward to see you all again
I believe I’ve mentioned earlier that I was working with a ”secret project” that took much of my blogging time away from this blog. Well (drumroll please), here it is:
It’s a brand new blog totally dedicated to the awesome computer game TrackMania United (a racing game)! I’m quite happy right now, cause it’s been linked to at two major websites: TMU Exchange and the Fok! forum!
I’m hoping to see this blog become a huge success, and if you are interested in this game, or know someone that is, I’d be thrilled if you could promote the TMU Blog by sharing the link to it with friends and family, and perhaps even link to it at any forum, website or blog you might visit/own.
If you don’t know what TrackMania is, or if you know but don’t have any of the games in the series, here are a few suggestions:
1. Download an older (February of 2006, so still quite new) but free version in the series here.
2. Buy the latest game, TrackMania United, either in store (if you are lucky enough to live in France, Canada, Australia and whatever countries the game has been released in) or by downloading it here! The download option is only available for 10 000 copies of the game, and is meant for countries where the game has not yet been released in store (most of Europe, America, etc.). In most of these ”unfortunate” countries, the game will be released in February, but why wait that long?
Now it’s bedtime. See you another time
Today I’m finally back for some blogging
I was so happy that my reader ratings had increased again (around 40 views today) that I decided to write a post in return (so you actually have something to view).
Today we (the family and I) have been Christmas shopping in Helsinki for the first time this year
I’ve bought presents for my sister, my grandmother, and my mom. My dad also found something I could give to him and something I could give to one of my cousins. Obviously, I can’t tell what here
I’ve also found some presents for my self (!), which my parents/sister will give me. People say it’s always nice to get surprises. True. But if you already know you will get something (which ruins half of the surprise concept), I think it’s even better if you can choose it yourself
In case I forget it, merry christmas, happy new year, and have a wonderful summer holiday!

I know I haven’t posted much here lately (as I belive I’ve said before), but there are two other major things that take most of my time:
- TrackMania United (no further explanation needed)
- A secret project I’m working on (might be made official, or might be kept secret forever – nobody knows)
In the mean time, try to be patient. I promise I’ll straighten up and get more writing done very soon!
Just a final note before I go to bed (just watched ”Lost”, so staying up extra late tonight): My previous post ”How to use a bucket” has received an unusual ammount of attention lately. Why, you might ask. Well, simply because people have actually typed in ”How to use a bucket” in search engines (I know, cause WordPress.com keeps track of what terms people have used in search engines to end up at my blog). I mean, who on earth actually searches for that? Weird!
As I believe I’ve mentioned before, TrackMania United has now been released (last Friday). I am now a proud owner of this wonderful game, which should explain why I haven’t written much here lately…
… and surprise, you’re not going to get more today either
Cheers!
Sparat under: Updates & Statistics
I love WordPress.com, cause they have such an advanced statistics page for their blogs
I’d like to share some information about the stats of this blog with my readers:
1. From the day I started the blog and until the 10th of November, the blog got around 15 to 30 views a day, the highest one being 34.
2. On the 10th of November the blog broke the old record of 34 views in a day, with a total of 54 views instead.
3. This number dropped a bit on the 11th, but on the 12th a new record was set yet again: 117 views in one day!
4. Now, in the few days that have passed, this has dropped greatly, and the total views a day is now down to around 20.
So, as you can see, the number of views vary a great deal, but the average for the entire blog is around 20 to 25. Perhaps the fact that the 12th was a Sunday has something to do with the unusually large ammount of views that day? People are probably just bored on Sundays
Qucik Facts:
Total Views (of the entire blog): 700
Views Today: 15
Most Views Ever: 117 (12th of November)
Average In The Last 30 days: 21,13
Blog Posts: 33 (including this one)
Blog Comments: 90
Search Keys: (words or terms that have been used in search engines where this blog has shown)
- Julmust, Juhlajouma, TrackMania United key
Note: Especially ”Julmust” has been a popular search word.

I just watched ”Dead Poets Society” yesterday. Greate movie! One of the best I’ve seen in a long time.
It’s not funny, it’s not exciting, there’s no action, yet still, there is always something happening, and it most certainly has a theme worth thinking about. I’m not going to waste your time by writing a long summary of the movie, and besides, most of you have probably already seen it, but in case there are still someone out there who has not yet seen this wonderful movie, I’d like to say two things:
1) Don’t be mislead by the title. Some people might think the title is boring or strange, and therefore not watch the movie. Others might hope to see dead poets walking around killing eachother, but you’re not getting that either.
2) Once you’ve seen it, you’re going to want to see it again!

Buckets amaze me a great deal! Just the fact that you can put things in them is so cool
You can actually carry stuff in them! Can you believe it? Carrying stuff in them was the original purpose of buckets, although people tend to use them in various other ways as well, such as drinking from them, taking baths in them, or even wearing them on their head as a hat.
How to use a bucket:
Since buckets are so often abused, I would like to take a moment to teach you all how to properly use a bucket. It’s not as hard as it sounds. In the following guide we’ll attempt to carry some rocks from point A to point B. Later on we’ll try a harder exercise which includes filling the bucket with water and carrying it without spilling.
Exercise #1
Requirements:
- A bucket, preferable with a handle
- A few rocks (about 3-5 is enough)
Instructions:
- Place the bucket next to the rocks.
- Put the rocks in the bucket using your hands.
- When the bucket is full, or when you don’t have any rocks left, lift the bucket by holding its handle. If the bucket doesn’t have a handle, place both hands around the bucket lifting it in front of you.
- Carry the bucket, with the rocks in it, by walking from point A to point B. Alternatively, you could run, crawl or do anything similar, but in this case walking is recommended. Also make sure you don’t tilt the bucket too much on your way, so the rocks fall out of the bucket.
- When you reach point B, put down the bucket and take out the rocks from it. It is also possible to just hold the bucket upside down and let the rocks fall out by themselves. This is often both faster and easier and requires less work.
Congratulations! You have now successfully used a bucket. For exercise #2 we are going to carry water, which is slightly more difficult. It is recommended that you practice some more with exercise #1 before you move on.
Exercise #2:
Requirements:
- A bucket, preferable with a handle
- Water in a large bowl, a sink, or something similar
- An empty bowl, sink, or something similar
Note: Make sure the water source and the empty bowl or sink is placed at a walking distance from each other. You will be carrying the water from the filled bowl or sink to the empty one in this exercise.
Instructions:
- Fill the bucket with water. Do this by putting it in the water bath (for example a sink filled with water) so the water flows into the bucket.
- Carry the water as in exercise #1 from point A to point B. The key here is not to spill any water. The less you spill outside the bucket, the better. Hold the bucket steady while carrying it, and if you use a handle, make sure you don’t swing the bucket back and fourth too much.
- Once you reach point B, hold the bucket upside down and pour the water into the empty bowl or sink. And you are done!
Don’t expect not to spill any water on your first try, Using a bucket properly take time and practice. If you haven’t spilled too much water, you should now be able to refill the bucket from the bowl or sink at point B and carry it back to point A. Continue doing this until you master the bucket carrying technique or until you have spilled all the water. Once you’ve learned how to carry the bucket, you might want to try it in a live situation and under pressure.
I hope this guide was helpful and good luck with your future use of the bucket.
I just thought I’d share this with you. During last summer I found this wonderful website, Writing.com, which allows writers (published or not published, professionals or beginners) to share their work of creativity with the world by putting it up for public view on the website – copyrighted of course. This obviously leads to a great source for those who’d like to read as well. There are literally thousands of creative texts, everything from poems and short stories to complete books and collections. There are also a wide variety of contests (writing contests mainly) and a lot of different features, such as the ability to create private groups, polls, quizzes, and even start your own blog! 8The last is not recommended – there are a lot of better sites for creating blogs – such as WordPress.com
)
Anyway, EVERYONE should visit Writing.com regularly (I’ve even added a link to it in the blogroll to the right)!
